Frequently Asked Questions
Question: How many meetings do I attend before I can join?
Answer: Each guest is allowed to attend two (2) consecutive meetings
before an application can be accepted.
Q: How much does it cost to join NET?
A: An application fee of $30.00 is required. Ongoing breakfast dues are
$48 per calendar quarter and there is a semi-annual renewal of
$30.00.
Q: When are my dues required to be paid?
A: NET collects dues on a quarterly schedule and the Leadership
committee establishes the fee amount. There are NO paid positions
or profits involved, only the actual costs.
Q: Who will notify me when I'm accepted for membership?
A: The NET Membership person will call you the day you are voted
into the Chapter.
Q: Who pays for the guest's breakfast?
A: Either the member whom invited the guest; or the guest may
pay.
Q: What is a Qualified Guest?
A: A Qualified Guest is a person whose occupation is not represented
in the Chapter, and if permitted to join, would not be in conflict
with any of the Chapter's members. Guests are invited for two (2)
meetings, and they must decide about joining at the second meeting.
Q: Once a member of NET, am I confined to conducting business only
with other NET members?
A: Your fellow NET members are your business' best references, as
you are theirs. Member's LOYALTY to each other explains why NET
is so overwhelmingly successful and continues to grow every year.
Support your SALES TEAM and they will support you.
Q: If I have a problem or a conflict with another member, who do
I contact?
A: Concerns should be addressed directly with the person with
whom you have a conflict and if that fails to resolve any NET
related issue then address the Membership Chairs.
Q: How long do I have to do my commercial?
A: At each meeting every member receives 30 seconds to do their
commercial. One method is to begin by informing fellow members -
"a good referral for me". Make it count!
Q: When do I get to speak?
A: NET sets a schedule so everyone has an opportunity as they join
the group.
Q: How long do I have when I am the Speaker?
A: Five (5) minutes - most Speakers receive more referrals than
average at this single meeting.
Q: What are "One-on-Ones"?
A: Individual meetings with other chapter members to learn more
about your NET team and their businesses.
Q: Can someone attend meetings in my place?
A: Only as specified by NET, an alternate may attend meetings.
Q: Who tracks my attendance and who do I call if I'm going to miss
a meeting?
A: You may contact a member of the leadership team or preferably
the membership committee.
Q: Who can I call if I have more questions?
A: First point of contact should be the membership committee:
